This is the new shredder. I plan to give it a trial workout during the ads while watching House tonight.
Shredding something is better than doing nothing at all.

actually shredding something is so much better than doing nothing because here it means that our pigsty office/dvdRoom which is actually just off the kitchen / dining room and so gets seen by every visitor (no doors) is now clean. Usable. You couldn't see the floor. I hadn't vacuumed the fluff mess that comes off C's black wool rug in 2 months. You walked 5 steps on 10 sheets deep of paper to get to the lappy. Gone. All gone :) The shredder + scanner + external USB hard drive is becoming my new filing system. A nifty bit of software that scans straight to single / multi page PDF. BZZZZZzzt. kibbles.
So satisfying to sit on the rug again. Even if it is itchy wool.

What's the program that scans straight to pdf? That sounds like something I could use to digitise some of my old tax records.
But yes, kibbles are extraordinarily satisfying, and our new shredder is a confetti style one (rather than our old strip one) which is much more fun.
Unfortunately, the boy is petrified of the shredder (and the vacuum cleaner, strangely enough) so all shredding gets done while he is asleep.
